Tourist: Bun Bo Hue

This is part of the 'Tourist series': a body of work consisting of around 15 paintings which I painted while living in Saigon, Vietnam in 2006. It was exhibited in the Blue Space Gallery there in October 2006 before being shipped to Europe. It was also shown (together with another 3 paintings in the series) in the Dollinger Art Project exhibition in Tel Aviv, Israel, August 2007.

'Bun Bo Hue' is a popular noodle soup from the city of Hue in Vietnam, sold on many street corners in Saigon.
